Coverage & peace of mind

The CABIN FLUX 3-Year Limited Warranty

We build travel gear to outlast the trip — and we stand behind it. Every CABIN FLUX product is covered against manufacturing defects for three full years from the date of purchase.

Our promise

CABIN FLUX gear is engineered in Toronto to move with you — through baggage holds, mountain trails and everything in between. If a product fails because of a fault in the way we made it, we'll put it right. This warranty gives you a straightforward, no-drama path to a repair or a replacement, backed by the people who built the bag in the first place.

The warranty is offered by CABIN FLUX® COMPANY Ltd. and applies to products bought new from cabinflux.com or an authorised CABIN FLUX stockist.

What's covered

We cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — the parts of the product we control. That includes:

Covered

  • Cracked or delaminating carbon & polycarbonate shells
  • Zippers and pulls that fail under normal use (YKK)
  • Wheels and spinner housings that seize or split
  • Telescopic and grab handles that jam or break
  • Built-in TSA combination locks that stop working
  • Seams, rivets and stitching that come apart

Not covered

  • Airline, courier and baggage-handling damage
  • Normal wear — scuffs, scratches, faded fabric
  • Cosmetic marks that don't affect function
  • Misuse, overpacking or improper storage
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Loss, theft or accidental damage

Coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required for every claim.

Duration

The warranty runs for three (3) years from the date of purchase shown on your receipt or order confirmation. Any repair or replacement carried out under this warranty is covered for the remainder of the original three-year period — it does not restart the clock.

What's not covered (in detail)

Luggage lives a hard life, and not every mark is a manufacturing fault. The following are outside the scope of this warranty:

  • Transit & handling damage. Dents, cracks or torn straps caused by airlines, couriers or conveyor systems. These should be reported to the carrier at the time — most airlines are liable for handling damage.
  • Normal wear and tear. Surface scuffs, scratches, scrapes and gradual fading are the honest signs of a well-travelled bag, not defects.
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect how the product performs.
  • Misuse & neglect. Overloading beyond stated capacity, exposure to extreme heat, chemicals or solvents, or storing the product wet.
  • Third-party or DIY repairs and any modification to the original product.

How to make a claim

Claims are quick and handled by real people. Here's the process:

  1. Head to our Contact page and send us a message. Choose "Warranty claim" as the subject.
  2. Include your proof of purchase (order number or receipt) and a short description of the fault.
  3. Attach clear photos of the issue — a wide shot of the product and a close-up of the defect help us resolve things fast.
  4. Our team reviews your claim, usually within two business days, and lets you know the next step.

Tip: keep your order confirmation email. It's the fastest way to verify a purchase and skip straight to the fix.

Repair or replacement

If your claim is approved, CABIN FLUX will, at our discretion, repair the product, replace the faulty part, or replace the product with the same or a comparable current model. Where an identical model is no longer available, we'll offer the closest equivalent from the current range.

We cover the cost of the repair or replacement itself. Any shipping arrangements are confirmed with you as part of the claim.

Your statutory rights

This limited warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country or province. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be excluded by law. If you have questions about how this warranty works alongside your local consumer protections, please get in touch — we're happy to help.
